Description:
The first part I definitely have a problem with, this isn't safe. At all.
The second part I sort of understand, devices should be encrypted and this is set like this, but why on earth do I have to use this comparatively insecure BitLocker crap that doesn't even let you use password based authentication? I know passwords are hard to remember and cause people to do all kinds of insecure things (like write them on paper taped to the computer screen), but the TPM without authentication isn't any better, nor is the USB key thing where any unprivileged application with file system access can just steal the key file. Password authentication with 24-64 non-sequential and apparently random characters (no dictionary words) from which the key for the headers containing the cipher key is derived is far more secure. Let me use my own encryption software.
