So, this cheap lowspec graphics card was acting up (sometimes you don't need high-end graphics, but something that let's you have a display nonetheless), so I took the machine apart. This is what I found. I guess that's what it was that smelled funny quite a while ago... What's weird, though, even with this amount of damage (that one coil literally burned and all those capacitors apparently exploded), the card still works correctly if it's not tasked with rendering anything.
